Southfields

The upgrade of Southfields Station includes the installation of a mobility impaired lift and the general refurbishment of the station, which includes the following works.

• Lift pit excavation works consisting of the construction and installation of the lift shaft base, underpinning, excavation including all necessary retaining measures, reinforced concrete works.
• New tactile paving to both Northbound and Southbound platforms.
• New lift lobby canopy bases and handrail foundations.
• Lighting column bases, PHP bases, CMS ducting and LEER footings.
• Duct runs and draw pits
• Provision of Method Statements & Risk Assessments, compliant with The Construction (Design and Management) regulations 2007 and LUL Quensh.

All works need to be carefully planned and managed as works need to be completed during 2nr 52 hour weekend possessions and a full closure later in the programme.
