Livis Safety Barrier System

Wednesday, 14 October 2009 00:00

The Livis Safety Systems Barrier System has recently enjoyed its first deployment on the Northern Line at Warren Street station. The safety barrier was in situ over the 52 hour closure whilst trains continued to run through the station.

news_safety_barrier_warren_streetLivis operatives erected the barrier in 50mins during Friday night’s engineering shift. Allowing contractors to work behind the barrier. Whilst trains were passing through the station. The barrier was dismantled in the Sunday nights engineering shift.

Savings are still to be finalised, however it is estimated that 55 engineering shifts were saved and many weeks of passenger disruption.
